Dr. Timothy Hamilton
Dr. Timothy Hamilton has been serving the Griffin, GA community with exceptional dental care since 1991. A graduate of the Medical College of Georgia in 1988, Dr. Hamilton brings over three decades of expertise to his practice. He specializes in general dentistry with a focus on crowns, bridges, veneers, restorations, in-office bleaching, emergency dental care, and the restoration of implant crowns and bridges, including All-on-X procedures. As a member of both the Georgia Dental Association and the American Dental Association, Dr. Hamilton stays at the forefront of advancements in the dental field.
Dr. Hamilton’s approach to patient care is rooted in compassion, with an emphasis on creating a comfortable, personalized experience for each individual. His caring, gentle nature allows him to address the whole person—not just their dental needs—and tailor treatments based on what his patients are most comfortable with. At Hamilton Family Dentistry, we want your first visit to be as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect when you come in:
Check-In & Relax
When you arrive, our warm and friendly front desk team will greet you. Once you’ve checked in, feel free to relax on one of our cozy couches in the waiting area while we prepare for your appointment.
Your Exam with Dr. Hamilton
Dr. Timothy F. Hamilton will take the time to get to know you and your dental health needs. He’ll start with a thorough oral exam and may take some X-rays to get a clear picture of your smile. Dr. Hamilton is here to listen to any concerns you may have and will guide you through every step of the exam.
Cleaning & Polishing
If everything looks good, Dr. Hamilton will give your teeth a professional cleaning and polishing, leaving you with a fresh, sparkling smile! After your cleaning, our team will help you schedule your next check-up, typically in six months.
If Additional Care Is Needed
If Dr. Hamilton finds any areas of concern, he’ll talk to you about them right away. Don’t worry—he’ll explain all of your treatment options in detail, including the pros and cons of each. We’ll work together to come up with a treatment plan that fits your needs, schedule, and budget, so you always feel confident in your choices.
